Our local employer offers primary, secondary, vocational education and homeland schooling to the Maningrida Community. This will involve the following responsibilities:

• Connect with students in a culturally appropriate manner
• Uphold the College and community values
• Assist teachers in practical lessons
• Communicate effectively within the classroom environment
• Provide additional support for students with needs

The employer will provide all on the job training, you will be working within a small team. This job requires you to be flexible.

You must have:

• Ochre card
• Ability to obtain a criminal history check
• Ability to problem solve and negotiate conflicting priorities
• Openness to learning new skills
• Experience in working with students or the willingness to learn
