Combine your administrative skills with your talent for customer service to support our high-performing International Admissions team at our growing Sydney Campus.

Join a University which is leading the return of international students to Australia. We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We’re about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

CDU Global provides leadership and strategic advice to support management and executive level decision making in relation to international engagement and works closely with faculty and key university administrative units and external stakeholders. The Office is responsible to the Deputy Vice Chancellor for strategic leadership, development and management of the University’s international goals and international activities, including international marketing and promotions, recruitment and admission of international students, international student support, legislative compliance, international partnerships, and relationships with government departments and other agencies.

As the International Admissions Officer, you will provide a range of administrative and client services including assessing applications for admission from international students into Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses, providing after sales and follow up services with prospective students and agents, issuing letters of offer and confirmation of enrolments and other relevant duties. Your customer service skills will be of a very high standard, and you will exhibit a keen eye for attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, as maintaining several student databases forms a key part of this role.

You will hold a relevant degree level qualification and relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training/education. You will demonstrate proficiency in administrative processes, record keeping, databases, customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds with an awareness of cross-cultural differences. Knowledge and understanding of the legislative environment of international education and previous experience in international admissions processing in Australia are desirable.
