We offer more than 400 courses, from VCE/VCAL/VETiS, through to nationally accredited qualifications such as certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, degrees, graduate certificates, graduate diplomas and short courses.


The eLearning Support Educator is responsible for providing support to teaching departments and providing expert advice to Senior Educators. Integral to this role is applying educational knowledge and practice into course design and ensuring our blended courses are compliant and of a high standard. In addition the role is responsible to:

* Deliver operations including individual and course team development sessions to extend the implementation and understanding of Moodle across course teams
* Advise and support in the design and implementation of programs to improve and extend the use of digital learning technologies in qualifications across all programs
* Coordinate client (teacher) needs including managing requests, responses and responding to feedback/issues with a forward thinking and solutions focus
* Work closely with Teaching and Learning support teams to maintain current understanding of business obligations and compliance matters
* Work with relevant staff in support business areas including ITS, Learning and Support Services to ensure an effective and accessible digital presence for learners and teachers
* Model teaching practices that reflect contemporary industry practice and learner engagement theory in eLearning

Your key accountabilities will be to:

* Work with educators to provide learning and assessment in a digital environment to a variety of cohorts by embracing modern pedagogic design
* Promote the Educational Excellence framework and its associated course library to all educators as a focus for building capability and sharing resources
* Ensure policies, procedures and practices governing all Academic Administration functions are upheld, in particular those relating to enrolments, assessment, attendance flagging, resulting and processing withdrawals
* Proactively pursue professional and vocational training to enhance current skills/knowledge
* Undertake your Team Member role consistent with the Chisholm accountability framework


You will bring the following skills and experience with you:

* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or enrolled to undertake the course
* High level understanding of and skills in the operation of learning management systems and their configuration for optimum student engagement
* Experience in Moodle course administration, design and course level trouble shooting
* Experience training and assessing vocational qualifications or outcome based learning programs
* Capacity to design and implement development strategies to improve the digital literacy of teaching staff

In addition to this you will enjoy working collaboratively within a diverse team, be highly motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
