The Opportunity

The ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes (CLEX) invites applications from talented Graphic Designers to join their team. The Graphic Designer will be producing graphics and visual aids to assist in communicating the centre's research to the public, schools, businesses and government. Working with the CLEX the Graphic Designer will provide visual designs in collaboration with the Monash Strategic marketing. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the flexibility of part-time work while collaborating with Monash and CLEX staff to achieve effective communication to various stakeholders.

As the Graphic Designer for CLEX you will:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design tools, software, technologies and design trends
• Imaginatively and creatively design innovative solutions to fulfil client briefs
• Implement and deliver high-quality graphic-design and visual communication solutions

As the successful candidate, you will have a tertiary qualification in design or visual communication or relevant work experience. You will have a portfolio of graphical work demonstrating your experience in communication scientific messages. You will have the ability to effectively communicate information to a defined audience and the ability to build relationships and support clients and stakeholders.
