What We Are Looking For
San Training Centre Beerwah is seeking a motivated and dynamic Taekwondo Instructor to join our team.
What is Involved
The position initially involves running a few classes on one or two afternoons per week. At times you may be asked to cover other instructors’ classes and there is scope for the position to evolve and expand depending on the applicant.
Our trainers and instructors at San often work closely with our on-site Physiotherapist and Strength & Conditioning coaches; as well as assisting with the running of our high-performance program for our elite Taekwondo poomsae & sparring athletes.
About San Training Centre
San Training Centre is a full-time Martial Arts and Group Fitness centre located in Beerwah. Our Mission is to help people improve their health and wellbeing through continued training.
Our program is run by experienced trainers who are focused on getting the best from our members by applying the most effective and up to date training methods. We strive to create an environment where staff can continue to learn and grow.
Our centre in Beerwah has been running for 6 years and is equipped with a 120m2 fully-matted open training area, a 21m2 Personal Training studio, separate reception area, Physiotherapy treatment room, and shower and kitchen facilities. We also operate a satellite club from the Maleny Showgrounds.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a minimum of a 1st Dan Kukkiwon black belt in WT style taekwondo. They must have experience teaching martial arts and must be happy to work with children from 3 years old. They should also have or be able/willing to get a blue card and senior first-aid certificate.
