Cert III Qualified - PART TIME (Wed, Thurs, Fri) Maternity Leave Contract

Nought to Five Early Childhood Centre is a not-for-profit, Community Based long day care Centre in Macquarie Park. We have been providing high quality care and education in the community for over 40 years.

We are seeking a responisble, caring, engaging and passionate Certifdicate 3 trained Educator to join our team on a short term contract. We are offerring a Part Time Floaters Position (Wed, Thurs, Fri) short term contract starting NOW until July 2021, with potential to extend.

This would be ideal for those who have recently completed their studies or near completion and are looking to gain some experience in early childhood.

Position Requirements:

* A Certificate 3 in Children's Services
* A current Working with Children Check
* Passion for engaging with children and providing quality learning experiences
* Have sound knowledge of children's development, the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
* Excellent verbal (fluent English) and written communication skills.
* Working in a team of experienced Educators

Responsibilites:

* As a "Floater Educator", you will work in all our three rooms / age groups.
* Ability to work rotating shifts and attend monthly staff meetings after hours.
* Work as a team, learning and maintaining each room's routine and procedures.
* Assist all staff in meeting the needs, supervision, health and safety of all children.
* Assist in providing an environment that is safe, fun, interesting and appealing.
* Respect and provide support and inclusion for all children
* Encourage and maintain effective communication between yourself, colleagues and families.
* With the guidance of the Nominated Supervisor and colleagues, promote the highest standard of care for the children in accordance with the National Quality Standards.
