CHILDREN'S SERVICES MANAGER

  • FULL-TIME (this role can be worked flexibly)
  • $91,140.54 to $117,871.63 per annum + super + annual leave + option of leaseback vehicle

About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for a leader looking for their next role. We are currently seeking a strong leader who has experience in motivating and inspiring teams to achieve quality outcomes. Reporting to the Director Community Services, the Children's Services Manager will provide leadership and effective management to a capable multidisciplinary team to positively influence delivery of high-quality services for children and families. This position will maintain collaborative partnerships, uphold the integrity of the regulatory frameworks and have strategic flexibility in implementing process improvements. You will have a community focus, positive attitude and enjoy working in a busy environment. Council supports flexible working arrangements, including working from home and flextime. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in the South West, with some travel required to our Centres across the Shire. You will have:

  • Degree or Diploma qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in a management role with experience leading staff within a complex environment
  • Experience in the planning, coordination and evaluation of a professional service, including policy development.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop others, supporting a high-performance team culture.
  • Professional approach and commitment to our organisational values
  • Skills and experience in contractor management and financial management would be beneficial.
  • A current driver's licence
  • Satisfactory Police Records check and valid Working with Children Check
