UTS International is recruiting for a Manager Transnational Education to oversee the operational management of UTS’ Transnational (TNE) programs.

The primary function of UTS International is to support and implement the UTS International strategy and its broader mission of internationalisation; achieve UTS targets for recruitment of international students; promote student mobility, facilitate international relationship building and provide services to the University as a whole.

If successful in applying for this role, you will:

  • Ensure clear and conscise communication with TNE partners, agents, external parties and internal stakeholders to support and enhance the TNE partnership
  • Provide high level advice on TNE activity and identify business development opportunities
  • Manage high level events, meetings and visits
  • Develop and review marketing materials including scholarship promotional information with Faculties, MCU and Promotions and Publications team to maximise student transfer rates to UTS
  • Plan staffing resources to ensure sufficient support to the programs during peak times such as JMC meetings, Graduations and other events
  • Coordinate compliance activities related to TNE programs with faculties, UTS College and Planning and Quality Unit

  • Proven planning, review and project management skills with a strong commitment to achieving organisational goals
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and build positive rapport with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the Australian International Education landscape and offshore education delivery models
  • Understanding of regulatory policies and requirements for the delivery of education programs offshore
  • Experience working in a higher education setting preferably with a focus on TNE program development
  • Experience in producing complex reports, business cases and high level papers to support new business development


Base Salary Range: $103,357 to $117,712 pa (HEW 8)

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis
