The role

We are seeking an exceptional Science Teacher to deliver effective teaching, learning and caring programs as part of our Science faculty across Years 7-10.

This is a part time (0.4), fixed term position for Term 2, 2021, with the possibility to extend.

You will be aligned with the School’s ethos, vision and values, and be curious, excited and invigorated by learning environments where you can make a difference.

The successful applicant must:

• be a qualified teacher and be able to demonstrate a suitable tertiary qualification in teaching and their methods
• have experience teaching Science across Years 7-10
• be willing to be involved in all aspects of the School’s program
• possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and interact with both adults and students
• have high level communication skills
• be able to work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative and collaborative team
• hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
• hold an Anaphylaxis Certificate and a current National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months)
