Student Opportunities Coordinator
- Commencement Salary $79,600 plus superannuation
- Ongoing/Continuing Full Time Position
- Monthly RDO Optional
About the Role:
As the Student Opportunities Coordinator you will be responsible for managing a broad range of services, events and initiatives within Careers and Employment, Scholarships, Going Global, Student Activities, Graduations and Alumni, to enable students and graduates to succeed in their chosen field of education and/or future employment and engage with the wider WAI community. This is an ongoing/continuing position with benefits as a monthly rostered day off.
You will need to have:
- A relevant degree or a post graduate qualification (e.g. Communications, Career Development, Management or Education).
- Expertise in the development and delivery of a range of student and alumni engagement services and programs.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and review services and programs, policies and processes that align to enhancing the student experience, furthering student outcomes and building engagement with graduates.
- Experience in the supervision of others and the ability to motivate team members to achieve specified objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as gaining cooperation from others across the organisation to achieve objectives, within budget.
