College Counsellor (Part Time)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Counsellor/Psychologists for this temporary part-time position, 3 days per week (Monday to Wednesday) for 2021.
Key Selection Criteria:
- A commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Marist tradition.
- Tertiary qualifications in Counselling, Social work or Psychology.
- Current membership of an appropriate professional association (eg AASW, APS, PACFA or CAPA).
- Experience working with secondary students (ages 12-18) and particularly with girls is desirable.
- An understanding of the current issues affecting adolescent girls.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- An understanding of current child protection legislation.
