Coordinator Supported Playgroups
Fixed Term till 30 June 2022

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic person who enjoys working with children to contribute to a safe, healthy and caring education and care service.

The primary purpose of this role is to develop, implement and coordinate a mobile, supported playgroup program across the Shire as part of a Department of Social Services project.

Your focus will be to support local families build skills in developing and actively participating in their pre-school aged children’s readiness for school through the provision of nature-based play and the early years learning framework.

To be successful in this role you will have an early childhood qualification, demonstrated community consultation skills, and the ability to communicate well in a variety of situations with a diverse range of families and children. A sound knowledge of local services for referral, and involvement in national research and data share for this federally funded activity will also form part of duties of this role.

Total remuneration for the role is in the range
consisting of:

• $1,403.37 to $1,495.69 base salary, plus
• $133.32 to $142.09 superannuation (at 9.5%)
