Child Care Centre Cook / Float Educator

Little World for Scholars in Churchill, Ipswich is seeking a cook to join our team. 

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Prepare all meals at the centre each day
• Menu Planning and Development
• Catering for children with allergies and additional needs
• Weekly shopping list
• Complete kitchen audits
• All cleaning required throughout the Kitchen (maintaining a high level of kitchen hygiene)

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

• First Aid certificate 
• Working with Children Check
• Cert III in Childrens Services 
• Cert III commercial Cookery/Hospitality or
• Certificate in Food Handling
• Certificate in Menu Planning
• Understanding of the National Quality Standard surrounding Kitchen and food preparation
• Able to prepare and cook food (following set recipes)
• experience working as a cook in a childcare centre 
• Be a professional and organized team player
• Good communication skills
• An Australian Resident or hold a working visa (this is essential).
