About the Centre/ServiceBethany Kindergarten Services (BKS) is a provider of Early Years Management (EYM) and aims to achieve improved outcomes for all children through the provision of high quality and accessible kindergarten programs. BKS is responsible for the operational and strategic management of 22 kindergartens

Work Days of the RoleMondays and Tuesdays 11:45am – 5:00pm. Please note the session times are from 12:45pm to 4:15pm.

DescriptionAbout the role: The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for the development and implementation of high quality, innovative and inclusive early childhood education programs. The Early Childhood Education Teacher will develop, implement, evaluate and document compliant, safe and developmentally appropriate education programs for each child whilst ensuring kindergarten operations comply with relevant legislation, regulations, policy and procedure. This is a 4YO Early Childhood Teacher position at Highton Preschool. The position is part time and fixed term to 17 December 2021. QualificationsTo be considered for these vacancies, you must possess the following:
  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA and suitable pursuant to the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011.)
  • VIT Registration and a satisfactory criminal history with a willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Current HLTAID004 First Aid certificate including annually updated CPR certificate
