The position is based in Melbourne and is a permanent full-time position. They offer courses in multiple fields such as individual support and early childhood education with the main goal of providing exceptional training programs for the offered courses as well as positive outcomes for the students that will enrol with them.

Job Description:

As a Compliance Administrator, you will help ensure the smooth operations of our client's RTO by providing efficient and effective RTO administration services, as well as liaising with trainers and students.

Additionally, you will help ensure strong RTO Compliance with the VET Quality Framework, Standards for RTOs 2015, the Skills Funding Contract, and ensure that all accounts tasks relating to funding, accounts payable and invoices are accurate and punctual.

In this role, you will be instrumental in assuming the following responsibilities:

  • Create and ensure the accuracy of student files, statement of fees, invoices and other administrative tasks
  • Record and enter student information into VETtrak and maintain RTO databases
  • Generate training plans
  • Administer Student Transcripts, Statements of Attainment and Certificate
  • Assist in the enrolment and creation of online accounts
  • Manage SVTS uploads and claims
  • Upload data monthly to the SVTS as required by the Skills First Contract
  • Liaising with RTO staff and students in ensuring that submission of relevant documentation for offsite training are submitted on time
  • Prepare issue and process invoices and payments from trainers, students, clients, and suppliers.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least two years of RTO experience
  • Sound understanding of VETTRAK student management system
  • Experience in generating AVETMISS and funding reports for submission
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Have at least intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly MS Word and Excel
  • Proficiently read/implement regulatory requirements and maintaining compliance
  • Basic understanding of accounts receivable, payable, invoicing and accounting
  • Basic understanding of National Standards for RTOs 2015
  • Basic understanding of Skills First Funding Contract requirementS
