Noosa Pengari Steiner School is a K-12 Steiner school, offering a full Waldorf curriculum through to Class 12. Set on a lush site on Gubbi Gubbi land in the Noosa hinterland we have been working for 25 years towards what is now a flourishing learning environment with over 350 students including a comprehensive, integrated and sequential Outdoor Education Programme throughout.

The successful applicant will be both teaching in the field, as well as maintaining a substantial coordination role at school with appropriate preparation time. Time in lieu for overnight stays on camp will be provided as part of the role. As with most Steiner schools, our outdoor experiences are often immersion based and experiential, working with perceived risk to develop capacities of leadership and self confidence in the students. Developing a healthy understanding and relationship with the natural world is also a core reason for spending time in the outdoors.

In looking for a new Outdoor Education Teacher/Coordinator we are seeking a trained and qualified teacher with an in depth understanding of how an age appropriate outdoor education programme can complement a Steiner curriculum.
