Role Description/Criteria
This position commences the week beginning, Monday 19 April, 2021 (Term 2). This fixed term Music/Performing Arts teacher role will be for the remainder of the 2021 school year.
Days: Wednesday and Thursday
Year Levels: Prep - Year Six
Sacred Heart Kew is seeking an energetic and skilled Music/Performing Arts teacher to join our dedicated team. Our school comprises straight year levels, two streamed class structure. Sacred Heart Kew is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The successful applicant will be committed to:
supporting the Catholic ethos of the school
implementing the Victorian Curriculum, in particular, the Arts (Music, Dance & Drama)
using digital technologies to engage students and enhance student learning
providing engaging contemporary learning opportunities across the Arts (Music, Dance and Drama) curriculum
building and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff and parents
working collaboratively with peers in a team environment to optimise learning for students
Special Requirements
All applicants must have:
current VIT registration
cover letter
curriculum vitae (including 3 professional referees and their contact details)
love of music, dance and drama
