About Us

SDN Children's Services is a not for profit organisation that has been delivering quality early childhood education and child care, children's therapies and family support services since 1905.

We are one of Australia's most respected children's services organisations, and have over 600 staff across 30 sites in Sydney, regional NSW and the ACT. We also have therapists who support children with autism or a developmental delay, and can help overcome the challenges that can make everyday life and participation tough for children.

About The Role

To lead a network of centres and/or programs which meet the purpose of the team. Develop new business opportunities in the regions/programs of responsibility. To develop a strong team of managers capable or running high quality services with strong margins.

This is a full time permanent position.

Flexibility with travel is required for this position.

About You

  • University qualifications Early Childhood Education/Social Work, Business Management or other related discipline or working towards qualifications
  • Experience working with children and families with complex needs and knowledge of the child protection and wellbeing systems
  • Understanding of / or commitment to understanding relevant legislation and best practice relating to the delivery of Early Childhood Education and Care, Disability and Community Welfare services
  • Demonstrated ability to build constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • An ability to facilitate critical reflection on practice
  • Knowledge and experience in managing operational budgets, centre utilisation targets and user pay service model
  • Current drivers licence and own comprehensively insured car
  • A current Working with Children's Check (NSW)
