The Advanced Skills Academy (TASA) is a registered training organisation that delivers nationally recognised and industry-specific training for doctors, nurses, beauty and health-related industry professionals. TASA is also the exclusive training academy for one of the largest medi-aesthetic franchises, Australian Skin Clinics (ASC).
The Role
The Trainer will be required to deliver high-quality online training, dynamic face-to-face training sessions and competency-based assessment to qualified Beauty Therapists, Dermal and Laser Technicians, Managers and Franchisees.
To support continued growth and to maintain our high levels of service and excellence in the field, our internal Trainers also provide “in clinic” education support to ensure the highest standards of treatment and service are maintained within the ASC clinic network.
Due to the growth of new clinic openings within the Australian Skin Clinics network, the Trainer will be required to provide both pre-and post-opening training support to new clinic teams, as a National brand, local and interstate travel will be required in this role.
The ideal candidate would be energetic, have a positive approach to training delivery, be protocol-driven, innovative, industry engaged and possess strong leadership qualities.
Our Gold Coast training facility offers a high-quality, simulated clinical environment to ensure students are provided with a real-life experience in training.
Skills and Experience
- Expert knowledge in Skin Science, Dermal and Advanced Laser Treatments.
- Highly experienced and passionate in delivering practical Advanced Dermal and Laser Therapies.
- Competent with online learning and student management platforms as well as engaging face-to-face delivery methods.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to offer continued mentorship and motivation for our students.
- Superior organisational and time management skills.
- Comprise intermediate computer literacy (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement, take responsibility for initiating and delivering outcomes and proactively identify opportunities for innovation.
- A minimum Diploma in Beauty Therapy or Dermal Science qualification
- Hold a current QLD Full Use Licence for Laser Hair Reduction
- Hold a current QLD Full Use Licence for Laser Skin Rejuvenation
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or a TAE40110, plus units TAELLN411 / TAELLN401A (highly preferred but not essential)
