Appointment Pool
We are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year.
Mukinbudin District High School (DHS) is seeking enthusiastic and proactive Secondary Teachers to join our friendly team to enhance learning for our students.
As a teacher at our school, you would work collaboratively with others to help create and maintain an engaging and stimulating learning environment for students to enjoy, and would help inspire students to develop a passion for learning.
Suitable applicants will be creative in their approach, recognise students’ individualities, and be able to provide an inclusive learning environment.
We are seeking a teacher who has good knowledge of learning areas within the WA Curriculum with a particular focus on Yearrs 7-10 Mathematics, and a teacher with a proven HASS / Science background. Flexibility to teach in other areas is highly regarded.
Suitable applicants will ideally be highly motivated, relationship-focused and passionate about creating exciting learning experiences to ignite student’s desires to learn. You will ideally value relationships with students and the community and work effectively with all of our stakeholders to achieve the best educational outcomes for students.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- Be fully or provisionally registered with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
