William Angliss Institute is the Government endorsed specialist training provider for the foods, tourism, hospitality and events industries and is recognised as Australia's leading provider of training for these key industry sectors. The Institute aims to provide excellent education and training services for industry, students and government in Victoria, Australia and internationally.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and effective Alumni Engagement Officer to join the Students Opportunities team as an Alumni Engagement Officer at William Angliss Institute. This is a part-time (22.8 hours per week) and fixed term position until March 2022.

Your responsibilities but not limited to:
Develop and oversee the Institute’s alumni engagement program including events, communications, marketing and administration.
Promote and raise awareness to students, staff, graduates, industry and alumni of the Angliss Alumni program
Coordinate the Institute’s graduation program to ensure a smooth running of these events in line with the Institute’s graduation guidelines.

You will need to have:
A relevant degree or a post graduate qualification (e.g. Events, Marketing, Communications) and demonstrated experience in a communication and events role, ideally within an education setting.
An ability to effectively communicate and build a rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver successful events/programs/services to the Alumni of the Institute.
Demonstrated experience with writing for a range of audiences, purposes and platforms.
Proven ability to manage multiple events/programs simultaneously with competing deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
High level of computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft suite. Some experience in web content management systems and social media would be well regarded.
Experience in using databases or other information management systems to manage data and communications.

Please note: A current National Police Check and Working with Children Check is required for this role prior to commencement.
