Qualified Swim Instructors (Toorak Campus)
Geelong Grammar School is one of the world’s leading coeducational boarding and day schools, offering exceptional education to all of its students, from Early Learning to Year 12. In November, 2017, our Toorak Campus (ELC to Year 6) opened the state-of-the-art Toorak Wellbeing Centre (TWC). The Centre has a 25m indoor heated pool, a Nutrition Centre for cooking activities, Movement and Meditation rooms, change rooms, a social meeting area and separate meeting room.
Applications are invited from fully qualified Swim Instructors for a number of casual positions. Reporting to the TWC Coordinator, Swim Instructors are responsible for providing swim lessons to children that create an enjoyable and positive experience and cater for the different abilities and needs of swimmers.
Casual positions
Hours of work are rostered at least 2 weeks in advance, with extra shifts for leave coverage also available throughout the term. These are term-time only positions which attract an hourly rate of $32.03 inclusive of casual loading; plus penalty rates on Saturdays.
You MUST possess:

- Current Level 2 First Aid Qualifications
- Current Anaphylaxis Management Accreditation
- Current AUSTSWIM/Swim Australia teaching qualification
- Current Victorian Working with Children Check (Employment)
- Experience in providing high quality swimming lessons to children
- Current LSV Pool Lifeguard Award will be highly regarded
