Customer Service Officer

Location – Queanbeyan

Contract – Fulltime Temp role until 31/8/2021

Reporting to Team Leader Student Services & Support, this position,

  • Provide an effective frontline customer service ensuring the provision of clear concise student information to all external and internal customers in order to promote a professional image and customer centric focus.
  • Provide first level support for student administration internal help desk to minimise disruptions, workflow blockages and escalation points to ensure customer satisfaction experience is maximised.
  • Perform accurate and timely processing of all student services related activities including processing, record keeping, student awards and scholarships to ensure that a quality service is delivered to all students compliant with policies and customer service standards.
  • Monitor, reconcile and report on data from Student Administration and Learning Management System to ensure transparent and accurate student data is available to meet business requirements.
  • Receive and process all financial transactions relating to student services activities in accordance with TAFE NSW and legislative guidelines and regulations.

  • Matters requiring a higher level of approval are referred to the Reporting Line Manager.
  • Balancing competing demands and expectations of the position while maintaining optimal service provision
  • Resolving complex issues without the local presence of a Manager on site at all times
