About the role

Due to significant growth, we have permanent and casual positions available within our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) team for experienced Trainers. Working from our Rivervale office, your primary objective will be to deliver high quality training services to the RTO’s internal and external clients under the guidance of the Training Operation Coordinator.

Your responsibilities in this role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Facilitate on and off the job training for all direct care workers, external clients and public students.
  • Conduct workplace assessments of hospitality and/ or clinical skills including Medication Management and other non-clinical skills at all sites including Day Clubs and Home Care as per organisational requirements.
  • Maintain up to date technical, vocational and industry knowledge as determined by accrediting bodies and your Manager
  • Act as a support role model to all caregivers promoting best practice principles and provide guidance and expertise on areas of direct clinical care
  • Conduct formal and informal education and training programs aligned with learning & development requirements, utilising a range of methods to suit the learner

About You

You will be a self starter who is passionate about education and quality standards. You will thrive on a challenge and enjoy delivering training programs on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Qualifications in hospitality OR
  • Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse Qualifications
  • Broad knowledge of education theory, including knowledge of Adult Learning Principles
  • C Class drivers licence
  • National Police Clearance (within 6 months) or ability to obtain one when required
  • Successful completion of pre-medical form and reference checks
