We currently have a position available for a State Technical Training Manager for South Australia. Based in Adelaide and reporting to the Australian Technical Training Manager, you will predominantly assist in the development and training of our service team.

You will be required to prepare and facilitate the delivery of our technical training and ensure that the business meets all legislative and regulatory requirements within the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQFT) and the Vocational Education and Training (VET) requirements.

Ideally we are looking for someone with experience in a similar role within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO); who has managed compliance, audits and rectification and who has knowledge of the relevant legislation and standards.

Key responsibilities in this position include:

  • Overseeing the development and training of our service team
  • Maintaining RTO compliance
  • Monitor all training and assessments, to ensure the business complies with all aspects of the VET Quality Framework
  • Manage all State Licensing requirements relevant to the business operations.
  • Analyse training needs and help develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
  • Help develop and organise training manuals, presentations, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date training and personal development plans for all staff.
  • Evaluate trainer’s performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage and develop performance assessments and training needs.
  • Train our Trainers in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees.
  • Plan, organise and facilitate training in the workplace.
  • Conducts and or arrange monthly technical training.
  • Manage and maintain company training registers


Skills and experience required include:

  • Possession of the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Working knowledge and experience with RTO regulatory requirements preferred
  • Experience in professional development and provision of accredited training.
  • Knowledge and experience in the pest control industry preferred.
  • Current Pest Control Licence preferred, but not essential, but must be willing to obtain one.
  • High level of interpersonal skills (approachable, diplomatic, sensitive, articulate).
  • Highly developed computer skills across a range of applications.
  • The ability to undertake tasks with limited supervision and work under pressure.
  • Availability to travel interstate as required

The successful candidate must be able to pass a Pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen as well as background checks.
