The Hopkins Centre brings this to life by leading the way in interdisciplinary applied research that examines disability and rehabilitation practices, services and systems. The Hopkins Centre provides a vehicle for driving improvements in service delivery by facilitating research that is embedded in practice.

The opportunity
We are currently looking for a Professor in Health or Human Services to be responsible for leading a range of applied research projects and translation activities of strategic relevance to The Hopkins Centre. Specifically, the position will play a leadership role in the Centre, implementing research quality, translation and funding strategies to ensure the reputation and growth trajectory of the Centre are maintained.

This is a fixed term (until 30 June 2022), part time at 60-80% negotiable position based at the Logan campus. Griffith is a multi-campus university and therefore it is understood that this position will work across campuses as required.

About you
To be successful within this role, you will be able to provide leadership and collegial management of the Centre's core funding through the Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) and Foundation Partnership with Division of Rehabilitation, Metro South Health. In addition to this, you will build an integrated approach to the Research Streams of the Centre to accelerate research translation, bringing clinical and citizen researchers together with academic researchers to deliver outcomes for industry and government.

Salary range
Professor Level E: $182,873 (pro rata) per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $213,962 (pro rata) per annum.
