About the opportunity:

Kids Uni CBD have a Permanent Full Time position opportunity available for a Childcare Educator Advanced. The role will be worked 5 days per week Monday to Friday. Within this role, you will provide high quality early childhood education and care, develop long lasting relationships which will support families and our community, and provide ongoing support and assistance to the service Director.

Key Aspects & Accountabilities:
  • Qualified with a certificate III in Early Childhood
  • Hold a current cleared Working with Children Check
  • Hold a current Senior first Aid Certificate qualified including certification in managing anaphylaxis and asthma
  • Demonstrate capability to develop educational programs for children that meet all requirements of the National Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrate capacity to form responsive and nurturing relationships with children and strong partnerships with families.
  • Show the ability to use purposeful, intentional teaching and demonstrated teaching skills to scaffold, support and respond to children’s learning and to guide children’s behavior.
  • Have a strong knowledge of the Regulations, the National Quality Standards and the National Curriculum documents that pertain to your work.
  • Demonstrate ability and willingness to incorporate aspects of the Circle of Security approach into daily work with children.
  • Demonstrate organisational and administrative skills, including the use of information technology.
  • Demonstrate high level of problem solving skills, including confidence in reacting to unexpected operational issues through to resolution.
  • Be a team player who is reflective, open to change and keen to continue to learn and develop.
