About the Job

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a marketing teacher to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the teaching of the following curriculum:

BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communication
BSBSS00077 Marketing and Communication Foundations Skill Set
10118NAT Diploma of Social Media Marketing

Please note that BSB52415 and BSBSS00077 are currently taught online with timetabled classes. We expect that at some stage in 2021, most teaching will return to the classroom at the Hawthorn campus.

10118NAT is taught online and the learning is self-paced supported by evening webinars.

As a Swinburne PAVE Teacher, you are required to inspire, engage and educate our students for the 21st century. You will implement industry best practice and current learning technologies and contemporary learning pedagogies. You are also expected to work collaboratively within a team of education professionals. Within this team environment, you will plan, deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education and training programs. This role requires our teachers to be able to customise and adapt our programs to meet our learners and clients needs that vary from certificate level through to diploma and associate degree levels.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor)
Relevant vocational qualification or degree in marketing
Current industry experience particularly in social media
