About Oac

We take a holistic approach to childcare and kindergarten at Only About Children Newport. We provide quality early learning, through innovative programs, with a focus on early years education, health and wellbeing. Through this integrated approach, we believe every child is given the best opportunity to reach their full potential. 

With three outdoor play spaces, each dedicated to a different age-group, children have plenty of room to lead their own play through adventure, exploration and creativity. We have an abundance of great resources outside, including sandpits, forts, other climbing equipment and vegetable gardens. Our six indoor spaces are specifically designed to encourage children to learn and grow with a focus on safety and natural elements. We enjoy connecting with our local community through planned excursions and activities that build on the children’s learning and interests. At Only About Children childcare Newport, these include regular walks to Newport Lakes where the ranger meets us. Here our children get to explore the lake and the wildlife. We also enjoy visits, from within the local community, that further develop our children’s interests and education.

We are currently seeking a Cert 3 educator to join the team at our Newport Campus. This role will see you floating across different rooms & supporting a team of highly experienced educators.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily room tasks - e.g. activity preparation and meal times
• Assuring the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards
• Ensuring compliance with relevant Government Regulations
