ABOUT US

Minaret College caters for students from ELC to year 12. The College has enrolments of over
2000 students and employs 300 dedicated staff across Springvale, Officer and Doveton

Campuses. As the College is experiencing immense growth, it is seeking to recruit staff to meet
the demands of a growing school.

Education, Qualifications & Skills

• Tertiary qualifications in Counselling or Psychology
• Practical counselling experience, preferably in a school setting or dealing with

children and young adults.

• Knowledge of the learning and development needs of children and young adults
• Experience in implementation of wellbeing and resilience building programs
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students,

parents and staff at all levels

• Demonstrated experience in dealing appropriately with highly confidential and

sensitive information

• Current Working with Children Check
• Demonstrated understanding of child safety regulations and guidelines
