Opening in January 2020, this is a 98-place service operating three rooms (6 weeks to 5 years) and is co-located with Carlton Primary School.

Description

Reporting to the Manager, Early Learning you will work collaboratively with a team of educators in implementing and contributing to a high-quality pedagogical program by role modelling professional practice reflective of Gowrie Victoria’s purpose, philosophy and values. You will do this by:

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and the broader community.
• Coaching and mentoring educators to achieve individual and team goals.
• Developing documentation that demonstrates intentional teaching and reflects children’s curiosity and learning.
• Actively participating in, sharing and embedding professional learning in the pursuit of higher standards.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification and VIT registration.
