JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for a English Teacher for our highly-reputable, independent K-12 school located in Sydney’s Upper North Shore. This school boasts strong community ties, excellent academic results and modern facilities and has a close partnership with parents and teachers to maximise students' potential. This exciting opportunity is to start in February 2021.


About the Role:

  • Full-time position commencing 8th February 2021
  • Fixed Term Contract – likely to be 4 week block
  • Ability and/or experience is preferable teaching Year 7-12 English
  • Interest and passion in pedagogy, particularly in Cultures of Thinking and Making Thinking Visible

Selection Criteria:

  • Be suitably qualified with an Education Teaching Degree (qualification must be recognised in Australia)
  • Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with NESA and WWCC
  • Ability to provide current and relevant teaching references from Middle Management/Executive Leadership level (please note referees will not be contacted prior to your express approval, and all applications treated in complete confidentiality)
  • Have the right to work in Australia
