Permanent Part Time Educator Required
We are looking for an enthusiastic OSHC educator to join our Ambarvale team who can work a variety of hours Monday to Fridays during school terms. School holiday availability is also desirable for our vacation care services.
Hours of operation:
Before School Care: 6:30am-8:45am
After school care: 2:30pm-6:00pm
Vacation care: 6:30am-6:00pm
As an OSHC Educator at Kids United OSHC, your role will include
- Assisting in the delivery of a high quality, educational, safe and fun program
- Provide programs which align with the framework ‘My Time Our Place’
- Communication and engagement with children, families and other team members in a positive, productive and respectful manner
- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
- Support the development of children
- Ability to support administration
- Supervision of children
- Light cleaning duties
- Preparation of breakfast and afternoon tea
- Attendance at monthly staff meetings
Essential Requirements
- Willing and able to work, sometimes with little notice
- Willingness to learn
- Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment
- First Aid certificate (including CPR, anaphylaxis & asthma management and emergency first aid response in an education and care setting) or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Ability to work effectively as a team
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, parents and staff
Salary will vary based on experience and qualifications
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: From $20.29 per hour

- WWCC (Required)
Work Eligibility:
- Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
