As the Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Early Childhood), you'll work as part of a trans-disciplinary team in collaboration with families, therapists and other service providers to deliver specialised intensive programs based on IEPs to support each child to reach their fullest potential. The successful applicant for this role will work 2 days per week with the ECDP team supporting students under 6 years of age with a diagnosed or suspected disability, in addition to this you will work 3 days a week at the school supporting students with a disability.
An Early Childhood Qualification is a requirement of this role, experience working in a learning support or Students with Disabilities context would be highly regarded.

Located in the heart of Cairns, Parramatta State School strives for success for all students in a welcoming and accepting environment. The Far North Queensland Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP) is located within our school grounds and supports children under school age who have a diagnosed or suspected disability and significant educational needs. All children have an individualised education program (IEP) that is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework and in collaboration with families and therapists. The IEP is used by our qualified teachers to provide specialised intensive programs to support each child to reach their fullest potential.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
