The Office of Planning and Strategic Management assists the University to achieve its Mission and Vision through evidence-based decision-making and a strategic approach to planning, risk and data analysis. At ACU, the Office of Planning and Strategic Management is at the centre of the University's planning and analysis activities, connected with key stakeholders across all portfolios and units.

The National Manager, Planning and Analysis is responsible for leading the delivery and continual improvement of the University's Planning and Analysis Unit. This position is responsible for meeting the University's information analysis and reporting needs, including: load planning, institutional research, strategic and operational planning and reporting, data governance, quality indicators of learning and teaching and with a strong focus on technology and innovation.

More specifically the role entails:
  • Leading a small team, overseeing the delivery and continual improvement of information analysis and reporting services, and in support of corporate and academic governance functions.etc
  • Leading and managing the delivery of enrolment planning support services, in close collaboration with the Provost, Faculties and relevant stakeholders across the University.
  • Supporting the development and execution of the university's strategic and operational planning framework, including performance monitoring and reporting.
You will need to have:
  • Postgraduate degree or progress towards post graduate qualifications in a management and/or administration related discipline with extensive relevant experience.
  • Fluent ability to use contemporary tools and techniques to analyse complex data and craft robust and clear advice at all levels of the University in support of strategic decision making.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in statistical services, enrolment planning and survey management in the higher education sector with extensive knowledge and expertise leading the provision of comprehensive and high-quality statistical analysis and related services.

Total remuneration valued to $135,972 - $145,092 pa, including salary component $114,981 - $122,776 pa (Higher Education Worker Level 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
