The South East Region is seeking expressions of interest for a temporary, part-time (0.6FTE) position for 2021 at Bardon Road Behaviour Support Program located at Berrinba East State School. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with school and regional teams to provide inclusive and early-intervention support options for students who are at high risk of disengaging from learning.

In this role you will:

  • Collaboratively plan, prepare and deliver differentiated curriculum for every student in allocated classes and groups; develop and implement individualised learning and behaviour support plans.
  • Contribute to improving outcomes for every student, through the consistent implementation of proactive, evidence-informed practices.
  • Engage in the reflective analysis of learning and behavioural data to inform program development and student feedback.

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.   • In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
  • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
