Mudgee High School Link Program is a successful community-based initiative, funded by Glencore to provide support to students in the local community who may be at risk of not completing Year 10 via the traditional school pathway.

The Link program is about giving students options by providing a pathway into Years 11 and 12 at Mudgee High School, access to TAFE, access to an apprenticeship, traineeship, or traditional employment at the completion of Year 10.

We are seeking a motivated person with experience in dealing with young people from a range of backgrounds to provide individual case management, in conjunction with the MHS Link Co-Ordinator, other community organisations and local businesses. A large part of the role will involve organising and overseeing work experience placements, in line with Department of Education (DoE) policy and Mudgee High procedures. The role requires the successful candidate be able to work flexible hours and, at times, accompany students on overnight excursions.

The applicant will need their own vehicle with comprehensive insurance, and a NSW Working with Children Check completed for paid employment. A current LR license is also desirable.

  • Capacity to motivate and support young people to re-engage with their education

Applications Close: 3pm, Friday 19 February.
