As the Fundraising Manager you will play an integral role in the evolution of our philanthropic culture. You will work as part of a dynamic team within the Marketing and Community Engagement office and under the guidance of the Executive Director, will be instrumental in creating, implementing and consolidating the School’s Major Gifts, Annual Giving, and Bequest programs.

You have ability to empathise with donors and communicate the School’s vision and strategic plan, and can build long term relationships with the MGGS community through trust, good listening, and responsiveness – attributes that mirror the School’s values of integrity, compassion, courage and self discipline.

With a proven track record of success in growing a comprehensive giving program including the ability to project manage a capital campaign that aligns to strategic priorities, you will be able to demonstrate how you have met measurable goals and objectives. Your friendly and engaging demeanour will enable you to relate to a broad range of stakeholders while also recognising diversity across age groups, backgrounds, interest groups, and ethnicities. 

Consultative and collaborative by nature, you will understand the importance of networking, negotiation and problem-solving in order to develop and maintain high quality relationships.

You will possess:

· tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline

· five years’ or more experience in similar roles

· the experience needed to grow a comprehensive giving program and achieve measurable goals and objectives

· highly honed organisational skills and an adeptness in handling competing demands

· a collaborative workstyle and ability to work with others in a team

· the ability to prepare high-level documents and reports and presentations

· highly effective written and verbal communication skills

· the ability to exercise confidentiality, sensitivity, tact and discretion at all times

· a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain, and

· a current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
