- HEW 9: $116,111 - $122,971 + 17% superannuation
About The Job
As our Manager, Student Success, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of effective academic support programs and services, including University-wide services and initiatives, specialist programs targeted at different student cohorts, and intensive support for high-needs students.
The position reports to the Director, Student Engagement and is responsible for three core functions, namely Academic Development Advising, AccessAbility Services and Learning and Academic Skills Development. You will lead a team of specialist advisors and receive support from three Team Leaders who manage the operational aspects of each function, and are subject matter experts in their domain.
Importantly, you will provide strategic advice to senior management and key stakeholders in the development of strategies, plans and policies to increase student retention and success and to improve the accessibility of physical and online learning environments. You will also advise on the management of student complaints.
This is a senior role that collaborates across the University to ensure that Student Engagement delivers evidence-based programs and activities targeting the specific development needs of our diverse student cohort, including those who have traditionally been under-represented in higher education.
