Working at CQUniversity


You will work to support our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander school students, their families, their communities, and school staff engaged through the Start TAFE Now (STN) program and the Start Uni Now (SUN) program.


You will be responsible for providing official face-to-face interactions between CQUniversity and high schools for our STN and SUN programs. As well as developing and strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and community organisations.

Position Requirements


  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, societies and the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
  • Knowledge in the use of computers including a range of business support software.
  • A clear understanding of Vocational Education and Training and undergraduate life cycle in a student facing role.
  • Ability to travel across CQUniversity campus locations, including overnight stays.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card.)
  • Current C Class Drive Licence.
