We are seeking a patient and caring nanny to assist a busy family in Randwick. The care will be for 3 happy girls, 9 year old twins and a 7 year old.

The days and normal hours over 2 -3 days - 8-12 hours per week

Monday 2.30pm - 6.30pm

Tuesday 2.30pm - 6.30pm

Thursday 3.00pm - 7.00pm

Additional hours may be required from time to time

An ideal nanny will be patient and caring. A nanny that is fun but also can be firm when required. The role involves the afternoon school pick ups and taking to appointments /activities and returning home to start the afternoon routine of overseeing homework/reading and preparing meals and getting children ready for bed. The family are wanting the nanny to join them long term and be able to form a lovely bond with their children.

Experience with children that have special needs would be advantageous but not essential.

The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –  

• Care of the children
• Pick up from school
• Take to appointments /activities
• Homework assistance
• Basic cooking for the family
• Light household duties - General tidying – wiping benches, load dishwasher, put load of washing on etc.

The family’s expectations from their nanny are -

• 3-5 years experience as a nanny or working in child care
• Child care qualification (preferred not essential)
• Having worked with children with special needs (preferred not essential)
• Current First Aid
• Current working with children’s check number
• Patient and caring
• Motivated and reliable
• Speak fluent English and display strong communication skills
• To be fit, healthy and active
• Able to cook basic meals
• Non Smoker
• Full Clean Drivers Licence and own car
