Combine your love of meal preparation and cooking with Children’s Services with Randstad Education. We are currently recruiting for casual Cooks within childcare centres all across Sydney.

You will need to be confident in preparing up to 3 meals per day for a large number of children whilst observing centre procedures effectively. In addition to cooking, your experience may be required in aspects of menu planning, nutrition guidance, and you will possess expert knowledge of safe food handling standards.

Key Requirements:

An Australian certification in Food Handling

A valid PAID working with children card

Hold current Australian work rights

Availability at least 2 days per week

Have easy access to transport

Demonstrated experience cooking in a similar environment

Good communication skills

Qualified Cert III in Commercial Cookery

The food handling certificate is designed to meet the legal requirement of the skills necessary to handle food. This is a legal requirement in Australia for the staff that prepares, handles, and serves food as part of their work.
