About us:
Explorers Early Learning is proud to not only be Australia owned, but locally operated by a Melbourne family. We are excited about our growth plans this year and have more centres opening in and around Victoria. 

We are all extremely passionate about providing quality care and practising the Explorers philosophy. We value our teams and focus on supporting our educators in their own careers to grow and develop as Early Years practitioners.
We bring the children, families, peers and community together as a whole

Our Tarneit Centre:
We will have the capacity for up to 140 children across 2 floors with 8 rooms. Our centre is within an estate and there is ample parking on site. Like all our Explorers centres, we provide meaningful experiences for the children. Our indoor / outdoor environment encourages children to explore their inherent connection to nature, including dirt, sand and water. We are very excited to continue to welcome families and educators and open this wonderful new room to our younger families. 

The Role:
We would love to welcome a passionate lead educator to open our 0-1yr room. You will not only have the opportunity to start in a brand new room but also to support, mentor and work with a wonderful support team. 

At explorers we are inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and so an understanding of this practice is essential.

We are looking to welcome Educators who are:

  • Bubbly with a positive attitude
  • Passionate about providing quality learning environments for children
  • Committed and professional
  • Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
  • Experience managing a team
  • Can model best practise
  • Be supporting and able to mentor and guide your and work closely with the management team

Key requirements:

  • An approved early learning qualification- Diploma of Children's Services.
  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Working with children check
  • Working rights- Visa / Passport
