JOB DESCRIPTION

Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. Inspired by the work of St Marcellin Champagnat, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent academic and career pathway results for our inclusive community of students.

The College has a vacancy for a Personal Assistant to the Head of Data and Pedagogical Practices commencing on a suitably negotiated date in term 1. This is a Term-time, continuing role. The position is classified as a Level 5 School Officer position and is remunerated at $33.5342 per hour and is for 38 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours as required.

Essential Selection Criteria:
Applicants must have a Blue Card (Working with Children);
Relevant experience and qualifications in the area of Business or Data Administration;
The ability to prioritise tasks and follow direction;
Excellent attention to detail;
Advanced Microsoft Adobe suite skills;
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

The ideal applicant will be required to:
Manage the Head of Data and Pedagogical Practice’s electronic diary including input of all College events;
Carry out a range of clerical and administrative duties at an advanced level including word processing, filing, photocopying, computerised record keeping and preparation of documents for meetings, including taking minutes;
Create and produce accurate and professional documentation utilising a variety of applications
Assist the HDD with the preparation of data, including subject achievement, external achievement (ACER, NAPLAN, ATAR), behavioural and attendance analysis.
Co-ordinate the organisation of Year 5, 7 & 9 NAPLAN rooming, equipment, special consideration;
Co-ordinate the organisation of ACER testing (PAT)
Organise information for senior mentoring and assist in publication of communications.
