We are seeking an experienced and dedicated OSHC Coordinator to take lead of Marymount Outside School Hours Care in Burleigh Heads. This is a Full Time permanent opportunity.
Marymount Outside School Hours Care provides before school care, after school care and vacation care to up to 135 children.
The successful candidate will bring their positive energy and welcoming demeanour to maintain strong networks with children, families and stakeholders. This role will share the same passion we all have for the children's development and wellbeing, along with the support of the team of fantastic Educators. We have a supportive management team and head office staff, who work together with you to ensure the service provides the best quality care for our children.
Hours: 38 hours per week
Remuneration: as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010. Level 6.4 to 6.6 - $34.8763 to $35.6184, depending on qualifications and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks
- Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare
- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- A strong understanding of Child Care legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place
- Effective computer skills including experience with child care management software (Xplor preferred)
- Proven leadership and team development skills
