If you are keen to be part of a growing network, with numerous project (METRONET) and want to play a significant part in these changes then this position is for you The RoleIn this role you will deliver the Certificate IV Rail Network Control qualification, facilitate training and assessment for the Trainee Network Control Officers as well as facilitate biennial reviews for Network Control Officers and supervisors. You will participate in the review and development of training materials and assessments for the Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) branch and liaise with the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Quality and Compliance area to ensure the Standards for RTO’s are maintained in training and assessment.Whilst reporting to the L&OD Operations Training Manager you will be closely involved with the Network Control team and contribute to projects and activities that ensures quality program and people development. To be successful in this position you should enjoy working autonomously, have sound experience as a Network Controller and an understanding of the Railway Safety Act . Possessing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TLI or equivalent will be a definite advantage but we are willing to support you achieve this qualification if you have the attributes for the position we are seeking. There is currently one fixed term opportunity available up to two years, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for twelve months from which permanent and fixed term appointments will be made.
