Ivanhoe Children’s Community Co-operative is a non-for-profit organisation. We are a 42 place centre who cares for children from the age of 18 months. We also have a sessional funded Kindergarten incorporated into our Long Day Care model. We are lucky enough to have most of our children in a family grouping style of environment, with indoor and outdoor play available most of the day. We firmly believe in the rights of the child, value respectful relationships for all; children, families, educators and community members.

This position is a unique role, we require the applicant to have a great working knowledge of education and care for children 18 months to 6 years. You must be able to maintain child safe standards and uphold the Co-op’s philosophy and values.

As this role is as an assisting educator covering leave as required. You will need to be able to be flexible to work in any age group or shift and be contactable on the day for work.

Must have: Certificate 3 Children’s Services as a minimum, Current First Aid, Child Protection Certificate, WWCC and Current Police check. A minimum of 2 professional references is required with your application.
