The Opportunity
TAFE NSW is looking for qualified, experienced individuals who wish to be considered for a full time, permanent teaching opportunity in Events. The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. This position will be located at the Ultimo campus

You are passionate about sharing your extensive industry experience. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and you have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environement.

To Be Successful In This Role You Must Have
- Degree or Diploma in Event Management
- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or a Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in Events where the skills and knowledge of this qualification have been applied, at least part of which was gained with the last 2 years
- Demonstrated teaching experience
- Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to contribute to a team environment
