Position Information

Erskine Park High School is a comprehensive Western Sydney school located in the Eastern Creek network of schools. The school’s 1029 enrolment includes 5% of students who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and a further 30% of students who come from backgrounds where English is an Additional Language or Dialect. The school also has a Support Unit of four classes. Key whole school initiatives include a BYOD program that harnesses an innovative use of technology; a focus on the explicit teaching of capabilities into classroom practice; inclusive high potential opportunities; vocational education and inclusive disability provision. The school is a member of the St Clair Erskine Park (STEPS) community of schools. School staff are supported by a wide range of community partnerships, including an active Parents and Citizen Association.


Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Spanish and approval and/or willing to teach Italian and/or French.

Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community.

Demonstrated capacity to effectively design and implement units of work using future-focused pedagogies.

Ability to plan and deliver innovative and differentiated teaching and learning programs that cater for the diverse needs of students.
