About the role

An educator works within the home of a family needing childcare services but whom cannot access mainstream services due to non-standard working hours, children with complex needs or geographical isolation. An educator is not just a babysitter, but must provide an educational framework to the children/family in need. The Educator will:

• Be Flexible with working hours and school holiday periods
• Monitor and document children’s development and progress towards achieving the outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate a quality early learning program for in their home environment.

About you

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) OR willing to attain.
• Sound knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework
• Current Working with Children Check (OR willing to attain) and National Police Check
• First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis OR willing to attain.
